On March 23, 2023, the "Pilot Application Project for Digitalization of Safety and Emergency Response on In-service Expressways" recommended by the Hubei Provincial Department of Transportation and undertaken by our company for the Ministry of Transport was successfully reviewed by the expert group in Wuhan.
This scientific research project was approved for initiation by the Ministry of Transport on September 30, 2022. Based on the on-site investigation, scheme design and extensive research and analysis in the early stage, the joint project team of Yuexiu Transportation overcame numerous difficulties such as short time, heavy tasks and multiple related influences. With the strong support and full cooperation of Yuexiu (Hubei) Company, the project implementation plan was completed with high quality. The project successfully passed the expert review, clarified the implementation requirements and standards, and greatly guaranteed the smooth completion of the research project.
At the review meeting, Zeng Liwen, the deputy general manager of Yuexiu Transportation, as the project leader, reported to the expert group on aspects such as the project background, goals, progress and safeguard measures. The project team accepted inquiries from the review expert group and representatives of relevant units in Hubei Province regarding the implementation plan. The expert group and relevant units in Hubei Province highly affirmed the practical significance of this project in the safety and emergency response of the transportation industry, and gave high praise to Yuexiu Transportation's sense of social responsibility. They unanimously agreed to pass the review of the implementation plan. Meanwhile, the expert group is full of expectations and high hopes for the implementation results of the project. They suggest that the undertaking units and participating units of the project such as Yuexiu Transportation, in light of their actual business operation and management needs, make good time plans, efficiently advance the relevant work, complete the relevant project tasks on schedule and with high quality in 2023, and strengthen the formulation of relevant standards or norms. Lay a solid foundation for the replicability and promotion of project achievements.
