On May 28, 2025, the Ministry of Transport organized a centralized acceptance of the "Digital Pilot Program for Infrastructure and Safety Emergency Response of In-service Trunk Highways" in Guangzhou. The eight projects participating in the acceptance came from provinces such as Guangdong, Hubei, Jiangxi, Sichuan, and Shaanxi. The acceptance team is composed of renowned experts in the highway industry, including Zhou Wei (former Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Transport), Cheng Ping (former Safety Director of the Ministry of Transport), and Wang Tai (former Deputy Director of the Highway Bureau of the Ministry of Transport).
At the meeting, Zeng Liwen, the project leader and deputy general manager of the company, on behalf of the project team, reported on the project achievements, pilot application effects and application promotion value of the "Digital Pilot Application for Safety and Emergency Response on In-service Expressways", and accepted on-site inquiries from the acceptance team. On the spot, the research results of the project and the quality of the acceptance materials were highly affirmed and recognized by the acceptance team, and it passed the acceptance with the first place in the "Safety and Emergency Response" theme group.
In July 2022, Yuexiu Transportation and Yuexiu (Hubei) Company, upon the recommendation of the Hubei Provincial Department of Transportation, applied to the Ministry of Transport for the project "Pilot Application of Safety and Emergency Response on In-service Expressways", which was approved in October 2022. This was the first time that Yuexiu Transportation had undertaken a national-level major project. The research project passed the pre-acceptance in December 2023. This time, it successfully passed the acceptance with the top score in the group, marking that Yuexiu Transportation has successfully achieved a close integration of scientific research exploration and practical application in the research of major ministerial-level projects. In the future, the company will continue to intensify its efforts in scientific research innovation and the promotion and application of scientific research achievements in line with actual needs, explore the deep integration of digitalization and intelligence with the field of transportation infrastructure, and inject new impetus into the high-quality development of the company and the industry.
