On July 27, 2018, the innovation module of the "Innovation and Development" project of Yuexiu Transportation Leadership was successfully held in the first meeting room on the 17th floor of Guangzhou International Finance Center, with a theme lecture and sharing discussion. About 50 people, including company leaders, Chuangzhan trainees and relevant professional and technical personnel from the headquarters, participated in this training.
The innovation module of the "Chuangzhan" project visited and inspected outstanding enterprises in Hangzhou, Shanghai and Guangzhou in batches from June to July 2018, including Alibaba, JD.com, Baidu, Tencent, Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway and Gaoxin New Technology, etc. This training mainly revolved around the theme of "Intelligent Transportation and Contactless Payment", including group visits and sharing, as well as discussions on the company's innovative development.
This training was presented by Expert Meng Chunlei, the deputy director of the National Engineering Research Center for Intelligent Transportation Systems. Based on the introduction of the new generation of transportation development policy environment, Director Meng deeply analyzed the current situation, problems and future development direction of intelligent transportation in China, and conducted in-depth discussions on the hot issues that the company is currently concerned about, such as the transformation of expressway toll collection models and the abolition of provincial boundary stations.
After the lecture, the four groups shared their reports and held group discussions based on the course content and their insights gained from visiting outstanding enterprises. They focused on aspects such as the construction and application of information technology, the transformation of contactless payment and toll collection models, the "highway +" development strategy, and the innovation and upgrading of business models.
At the end of the training, General Manager He Baiqing summarized the innovation module training, highly affirmed the achievements of the field trip, exchange and learning discussion, and put forward several requirements for the next step of work: First, in line with the progress of new project acquisition, continue to explore and improve the management model of the area. Second, closely follow the development trend of contactless payment and adhere to the "borrowing" principle. As long as it is beneficial to the company's development, it can be used. Third, strengthen the construction of informatization and study the improvement of the company's investment management level through informatization means. Fourth, we will promote the feasibility of establishing a research center for Yuexiu Transportation. Taking the application for high-tech enterprise status on the North Second Ring Road as an opportunity, we will further intensify the company's research and development efforts. Fifth, under the "Highway +" development strategy, actively explore cooperation opportunities in areas such as industrial chain extension and intelligent transportation.
